The purpose of CBESOL is to foster the development of high-quality, church-based programs that teach English and American culture, and share the love and good news of Jesus Christ with internationals in our communities.
Welcome fellow ESOL volunteers! This website exists to equip volunteers in both ESOL teaching and Christian ministry to internationals in the Washington, DC, area.
We offer a variety of resources to use in your ESOL teaching and ministry. You can find class locations and scheduling information, upcoming ESOL training opportunities, ideas on how to better minister to your students, class resources and tips on how to build your own church-based ESOL program.
